Lester

Meet Lester. This sweet boy came to us after being found alone and abandoned at a school. The school personnel and kids took care of Lester as long as they could, by feeding him and showing him love, but we knew we had to step in and help. He is now healthy, fixed, and ready for a new home of his own. We believe Lester is about five years old. He has a great personality! Lester will make a wonderful new pet for a loving family.

Meet Layla. This super sweet girl came to us after being left confined in a small enclosure with little food and water. Good Samaritans would feed her to keep her alive, but knew she needed a better life. This is when we came in and brought her to our rescue. Layla is such a sweet girl and once healthy enough will be looking for her forever home.

Meet Tarzan. Tarzan has been at our rescue for a very long time and sure would love a home where he can gets loads of attention. He is very calm and affectionate and will make a great pet for someone. Tarzan is happy, healthy, and very sweet.

She is real sweet and could really use a home that is quiet, loving, and one that her people will give her lots of attention. She is one years old, healthy, happy, and up-to-date on all medical. She can’t wait to meet her new family soon.

This sweet beautiful girl was saved from living alone as a stray by a caring person. She was no longer able to care for her and so we took in sweet Milka. Meet Tere. She was brought into us by a concerned citizen who found Tere abandoned and in need of medical attention. She is now ready for a new loving home and ideally she would do great in a home with few pets, as she likes all the attention. She loves to play and run and is generally a happy girl. She weighs 40 lbs, is spayed and vaccinated.

Meet Rosita. She came in with Coyota and Yota - and all were in rough shape. She is now weighs 42 pounds, approximately 9 years old, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations. They were abandoned on the streets with no one to care for them. After a lot of medical attention, nutrition, and love they are now ready for a new forever home.

She came to us due to being abandoned on the streets. Dora needed a lot of medical treatment, but now is healthy and happy and can’t wait for a new home all her own.

Meet Osa. This sweet dog was transferred from another shelter in Costa Rica where her fate was in jeopardy. We took her in to help this sweet girl find a family of her own. She is sweet. peaceful, and so beautiful. She weighs 30 pounds, is approximately 6 years old, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Meet Joshi. This sweet big boy is four years old and a love bug. He loves kids, has a big personality, and is our gentle boy. Joshi loves attention too! He came to us after being abandoned in a home, left alone, with no food or water. After a lot of medical care, he is ready for a new loving home. He now weighs 64 pounds and loves to eat…we can’t blame him. Joshi is neutered to date with all vaccinations.

Meet Luna. She came to us as an abandoned street dog in bad shape. Luna needed a lot of medical attention and love before being ready for a new home. She is very affectionate and loves to play. Meet Gwen. This sweet goat is loving and very playful, and came to us due to having no place else to go. Gwen was very emaciated and so scared…and after a lot of medical treatment and healthy nutrition she is now healthy and so sweet to our team and visitors.

Meet James. He is a sweet boy who doesn’t like his photo taken. But we did it! He is approximately two-three years old and came to us because of being abandoned. He is very playful with the other goats, and is so much fun to watch. James definitely has a huge personality.

Meet Juancho. This sweet middle age boy came to us after his owners could no longer care for him. He is super friendly and loves lots of attention. He also loves the other animals and doesn't like to be alone. Juancho, for sure, has the biggest personality!

Meet Tita. This sweet girl came to us in very bad health. She was emaciated and frail. Her owners tried to care for her; however, they just couldn't any longer. Please consider helping us by sponsoring this sweet horse.

Meet Payaso. This sweet little girl came to us very ill and emaciated. She was close to death and had no place else to go. She is now happy, healthy and full of energy. You can often see her running around the pastures playing and prancing around. She loves attention, treats, and her ears scratched. She can’t wait to you (as long as you give her loads of attention).

Meet Amigo. This super sweet boy loves attention, to be ridden, and to be brushed. He is approximately 28 years old and came to us from extreme abuse and neglect. He is great for kids to ride due to his small size. Amigo is a herd leader and can be seen keeping everyone safe, despite his size. He can’t wait to take you around the trails (and for some treats).

Meet Abuela. This very shy girl has only one eye due to a battle of cancer. She is very shy, but if you approach her slow with treats in your hands she will start to slowly come near you. She is approximately 34 years old and loves the quiet life of our sanctuary. We love our girl Abuela!

Meet Marina. This sweet girl loves to play. She is very beautiful to watch prance around the pasture, playing and loving the attention. Marina also loves treats and ear scratches too. She came to us due to being abandoned and left to die. She is approximately 25 years old and now healthy, happy, and full of life. She can’t wait to meet you.
