Meet Canelo. This sweet boy is approximately 3 years old and very shy. We believe he was abused by humans due to this fear and he has other injuries that you can tell were not medical taken care of, for example a past broken tail. Canelo was rescued in Bagaces after being found on the streets emaciated and with a large neck wound. This wound was actually a tumor that we removed. He is healing nicely, but we need to work on building his trust of humans. If someone can open their heart to work on his fear and make him part of your family. What a great sweet boy.
