Our free range hens provide plenty of daily eggs for staff and locals in the area. Some of our special programs also provide support to the people of this friendly.
Through our Guayabo Care Fund we will help with medical care for owned pets, as well as provide spay and neuter support.

A Natural Sanctuary
At Guayabo Animal Rescue, we take pride in caring for both our animals and our people. We believe a strong community begins with compassion for everyone in it—starting with our own team. Every one of our Costa Rica staff members was born and raised right here in the small rural town of Guayabo.
Together, we not only provide life-saving care for animals but also offer educational opportunities, medical assistance, and fresh food—much of it grown on our property.
From vibrant gardens to golden honey harvested from our carefully managed beehives, everything we do is rooted in sustainability, community, and care.
