Adopt Captain

Meet Captain. This five year old boy loves attention by his humans and will do best in a home with either no dogs, adopted with Sky his long time pal, or maybe with one or two other dogs only. He craves all the attention and a more quiet lifestyle (less barking and commotion by the others). He is super healthy, active, and also would make a great dog for protection. She was found by a loving couple from the US, alone and starving to death. They brought her to us and she is getting stronger each day. She is a large size dog, approximately five year old, and loves everyone.

Vida

Meet sweet Vida. A precious hound mix we rescued due to her owner had to deal with a medical issue.

Estrella

This sweet dog was rescued from the streets with a severe hip fracture. Our medical team needed to do major surgery on her leg due to the extreme injury.

Meet Jay. He came to us with a terrible upper respiratory infection. We honestly never thought he would survive.

This sweet lab mix came to us after being tied to a fence post on our property with her sister. Laica is approximately one years old and what a love.

This little boy is five months old and what a huge personality he has. Found with a sister alone and with a severe respiratory infection. Today Chicharron is happy and healthy and fully recovered.

This sweet one year old girl is so cute with her big ears, sleek coat, and inquisitive way about her. Gorda came to us with another dog, Lobita, who both were dumped on the side of a lonely highway together left to starve.

This 5 month old baby girl came in with two siblings, found dumped in a box left to die. They all were severely emaciated and extremely scared.

This little puppy was found with his mom Nikki running the streets. He was starving and so scared. Today he is happy and healthy and ready for his new fun family.

Fortuna

Meet Fortuna. This little girl is so sweet and loving. Fortuna was brought to us by guests traveling through Costa Rica as they found her abandoned on the side of the road.

Brownie

She is 7 months old and was found at a construction site, left alone and so very afraid. We didn’t know if Brownie was even going to make it, but she has pulled through.
